The Manchester Libyan Community School is one of the oldest and largest Libyan schools and was named by this name because it is located in the city of Manchester. Historically, the school was exclusively for the children of students who were sent to study or work or for treatment, but in recent years it opened its doors to all Libyans and even non-Libyans, and it accommodates the Libyan community from Manchester as well as the surrounding cities. The curriculum taught in this school is the Libyan curriculum approved by the Libyan Ministry of Education.
